4 Hip Hop Videos I Find Inspiring

1. Childish Gambino – Sober

This video if you pay close attention is quite trippy. The time never changes, his movement as a whole appears possessed, and all of this is happening over a catchy hip hop beat. As a whole it something completely different. He didn’t even buy any food.

2. A$AP Rocky – L$D (LOVE x $EX x DREAMS)

Now Rocky has always been a pusher of new, fresh, hot rap instrumentals and videos and this song is no different. The strobe lighting on the street signs, the crazy camera pans, the rapid scene changes, the constant changes in the beat, especially when he’s rapping in the mirror, all illustrate the different, creative attributes of ASAP Rocky.

 3. Tyler, The Creator – Buffalo

Since the day he became most famous with that dirty New York Type Beat on Yonkers, he has been pushing envelopes and this is reminiscent of the beginning. From the lynching scenes to the Find Your Wings video which is a tribute to the Stevie Wonder days, this guy never stops raising the bar.

4. Clams Casino – All Nite ft. Vince Staples

This video is relatively new, but is extremely original. Vince Staples rapping over a West Coast Type Beat with the video shot over an entire day, with the time changes all edited together to fade in and out of one another is definitely ingenious. More videos and hip hop beats like this is what I need.
